Outcome

Upon course completion, students will be able to:

  • Configure and verify ASA Firewall features including initialization, routing, NAT, and high availability/redundancy
  • Configure and verify FTD Firewall features including initialization, routing, NAT, and high availability/redundancy
  • Implement and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote-access VPNs (DMVPN, FlexVPN, Remote-Access VPNs, S-VTI)
  • Configure and verify secure network connectivity using MPLS unicast routing and MPLS VPNs
  • Deploy and configure the Email Security Appliance (ESA) including initialization, configuration, and email filtering
  • Deploy and configure the Web Security Appliance (WSA) including initialization, configuration, and URL filtering
  • Implement router and switch security hardening
  • Configure and verify ISE for 802.1X authentication, Active Directory integration, and device administration

Prerequisites

Before attending this course students should have some prior knowledge of Routing and Switching Concepts. Security Technologies will be taught from scratch.
